Function Blog

I am going to share the most fun and easiest work from my team page. The easiest thing was probably the paper prototype.I picked this because it was fun and me and Stephen(Teammate) worked really hard together. The paper prototype relates to civics because it is about the Freedom of Expression.I think that our game relates to the function community because in the first scene you are in a car on the way to the court and facts will pop up about the Freedom of Expression. Then in the second scene you are still in the car, but this time instead of facts popping up it will be questions about the facts that we gave them.In the third scene you are at the court and the judge will tell you information about the case and then the lawyers are going to tell you their side of the story. In the fourth scene you are still at the court, but this time you just have to pick who you thought won the case.I think that me and Stephen worked together because I would do one scene and he would do the other. If one of us needed help we would be there for each other.Sometimes we would argue a little but we would eventually get through it and agree on something.I think that working with Stephen really made me realize who he really was.

How They Went!!!!

I think that the game presentations went well besides the fact that I used the wrong PowerPoint. I learned that our game needs a lot of work done with it. Yes we are going to probably rename our game and we are going to focus on one amendment. We realized that we need to focus on one amendment, change the title, and finish the game scenes.

We have two or three different topics, but the game presentations made us realize that we need to narrow it down to one.Like I said before we have two or three different topics, but we are going to narrow it down to one, but we don't know what one.We still need to do a little more research about the amendments and peoples rights. We might change our name, but we think that our name suits our game because it is a trivia game.We will add more scenes.

My New Year's Resolution

My new year resolution is to finish my game demo with ten levels.I would like to finish my game with ten levels because then I would have a better chance of winning the competition at the end of the year. I also want to win the best game competition at the end of the year. I would like to win the competition because I would get a free laptop with flash updated on it. If I win the competition I will thank Mrs. Barker for helping me in Flash and for never letting me give up.I would like my new year resolutions to come true so that I would get an A on my report card.
