Peer Evaluations 4-1-11

Yesterday we evaluated each others games. I was so shocked to see the progress that the other teams have made in the last weeks. I believe that I've made a lot of progress lately on my game. We had to walk around, play the other teams' games, and then we had to tell them one bad thing and two suggestions that could make their game better.

The fist comment that I got was good. It was describing how great my graphics were. It took me a while to get the football field, football players, and the routes for the WR to look good. I had to keep making them because I would mess up. Once I got help from Billy and some other classmates I made the graphics easier and better.

The second comment that I got was also good. It was describing how the other teams liked my game play. I try to make my game as fun as possible, but also while teaching them. In "Raider's Equation" you're a football player (Dustin or Austin). In the third quarter you have to run touchdowns while dodging blocks (enemies). In the fourth quarter you are the quarterback. You have to wait for the WR to get as far as they can down then field and then throw it to them.

The third and final comment was a suggestion from the other teams. It was describing how I don't have the hit test working on the runningback scene. I've tried and tried to get it working, but I can't figure it out. Some other classmates and I have been working our hardest, but none of us can accomplish it. I've tried the hit test actionscript, but it don't seem to help.

So that's the good comments and bad. From the graphics to the gameplay I try to make my game the best, and that's what I plan to do.
